Searching for words that spellbind … Searching for stories that enthrall … Searching for the basis of film: Screenplays. sehsüchte.08 has done it: Its search for the basis has been successful: Fifty-five screenplays from Germany and Austria were submitted and read with watchful eyes. Our four-member jury has nominated five screenplays from this diverse pool of ideas. Naturally we don’t want to withhold these impressively eloquent treasures from sehsüchte’s public and the Screenplay Lounge offers exclusive cinema for the mind’s eye and the opportunity to experience these films in the raw! |

Let trained voice over artists for the stars take you with them on a trip through space and time.
Once again we were able to win over Oliver Rohrbeck, the curator of the "lauscherlounge", and some of his colleagues for the presentation of the selected screenplays. This year, the voice over artists will receive support from acting students from the Film and Television Academy Konrad Wolf.
Not only the audience but also the emerging screenwriters ought to be excited since they are being given an opportunity to experience the impact of their texts on a critical audience. Just wait and see which of the young writers gets to take the 2008 award for the best German language screenplay with a purse of 1,500 euros. |
