Retro-Perspectives: Voices and Images from the Archive - Part of sehsüchte.08 will be the first retrospective of student films from the archive of the Film and Television Academy Konrad Wolf. Some of what we have dug up for you is rarely or never shown exercises and thesis films, treasures from over fifty years of the academy.
The retrospective arose out of collaboration between an “Analysis, Aesthetic, Audience” Media Science program seminar “Archive – Image – Film” and the academy’s film archive.
The Retro-Perspectives will be moderated by Tobias Ebbrecht, assistant professor of Film History at the academy.
