This year, sehsüchte is cooperating with the rich media publishing platform hobnox.com (www.hobnox.com) that unites broadcast quality web media with cutting edge community-enabling technology. Hobnox was created as an artists’ initiative for artists to respond to their demand for personal control of their creative output on the Internet. Having already launched four innovative Web TV channels, Hobnox will launch the first extension of its platform in February 2008.
On the Hobnox Channel (www.99stories), a platform for everything that has to do with cinema, viewers can catch a preview of the films from this year's festival beforehand. Here sehsüchte presents a selection of festival films online, before they find their way to the cinema. This way, filmmakers have the opportunity to present their films to a wider audience before the sehsüchte festival and outside the screening room.
