Since 1989, Stefanie Gross has been in charge of the television series dramaturgy department’s planning of television films and buying and project development of docusoaps such as “Feldtagebuch – Allein unter Männern” by Aelrun Goette, narrative documentaries such as “Landliebe” by Dietmar Ratsch for the series “Debüt im Dritten” and living history format such as “Abenteuer 1900 – Leben im Gutshaus” by Volker Heise and “Die Bräuteschule – 1958” by Susanne Abel. Since early 2006, she has been the editor-in-chief of the series “Debüt im Dritten” for which eleven films such as “Reine Geschmacksache” by Ingo Rasper have been made so far. |
Alfred Holighaus (Writer, Producer, Program Curator)

While occasionally studying Theology (since 1980), Alfred Holighaus already worked as a film and culture journalist. From 1981 to 1995, he worked as a freelancer and later as the editor-in-chief of the city magazine TIP in Berlin. From 1995 to 2000, he headed the department of Project Development, Material and Film Acquisition at Senator Film Productions while working as the dramatic adviser and/or co-producer on such projects as the “Comedian Harmonists”, “Bang Boom Bang”, “Helden wie wir”, “Käpt´n Blaubär” and “Das Experiment”. In February 2000, he assumed the management of Senator Film Verleih GmbH. Since June 2001, he has been in charge of the acquisition and presentation of German films at the Berlinale and heads the section “Perspektive Deutsches Kino”. He also works as a freelance project manager for the Deutsche Filmakademie and as a producer. |
Uschi Keil (Managing Director of Above the Line)

After twenty years of freelancing in film and TV production as, among other things, production assistant, production manager, line producer and producer, Uschi Keil established the Screenplay Academy at the Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin (dffb) and headed it from 1997 to 2001. Since January 1, 2001, she has been managing director of the agency Above the Line Berlin GmbH where she represents writers, directors and cinematographers. |
Wenka von Mikulicz (Material Development at Boje Buck Produktion)

Born in Berlin in 1965, Wenka von Mikulicz grew up in Swabia. In 1987, she returned to Berlin, began attending the university and devoted herself to the theater. She worked as an assistant director at Schillertheater in Berlin until 1993. Afterward, she worked at Gorki Theater and other theaters outside Berlin. She has worked at Boje Buck Produktion GmbH since 2000 where she has been responsible for material development since 2001. Among others, she has collaborated on the films “Hände weg von Mississippi” (2006), “Knallhart” (2005) by Detlef Buck and “NVA” (2004) by Leander Haußmann mit. |
