Producer’s Award
The sehsüchte Producer’s Award was created in 1999 and has been awarded seven times since then. The sehsüchte team developed the concept in collaboration with its sponsors at that time. sehsüchte intends this award to recognize and more effectively raise the public’s awareness of producers’ work. The award is conferred for outstanding achievement in the organization and financing of a compelling film project. A close look will be taken at both the “production value” and the role of the producer or production manager in the production of a film. A selection of submissions will run in a special block at the festival.
